Some people have expressed concern about the future of the IT industry in advanced countries like Australia, where many jobs are being off-shored to other countries.
I believe that this unconventional path has actually been an advantage, as it has allowed me to avoid being pigeonholed into a specific specialization and to approach problems with an open mind. I am constantly learning and expanding my skill set, from my early exposure to computers and programming to my current focus on Python coding, Cisco, VMware, network automation, Ansible, and Linux.Īlthough I don’t hold a formal IT or engineering degree from a university, I have a wealth of experience gained through on-the-job training, classroom learning, and self-study using a range of online and offline materials.
